Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 16 Ounces Vanilla Wafers (about 1 ½ boxes)
  • ¾ Cup Butter (divided, measured prior to melting)

Blondie Batter

  • 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 ½ Teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 ¼ Cups White Sugar
  • 2 Boxes Banana Pudding Mix (3.4 ounces each, dry)
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • Remaining 1 ¼ Cups Butter (melted)
  • 2 Cups White Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Cup Vanilla Wafers (crushed, set aside from initial crushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and spray a 9×13 inch baking pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Crush Vanilla Wafers: Place the 16 ounces of vanilla wafers into a large plastic bag and crush them. Set aside 1 cup of these crushed wafers for later use.
  3. Make the Crust: Pour the remaining crushed vanilla wafers into a large bowl. Add ¾ cup of butter (measured before melting) and mix until well combined. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust. Bake the crust for 5 minutes to set.
  4. Prepare Blondie Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, white sugar, and dry banana pudding mix until evenly combined.
  5. Add Wet Ingredients: Stir in the 3 eggs, vanilla extract, and the remaining melted butter (approximately 1 ¼ cups) to the dry mixture, mixing thoroughly until smooth.
  6. Fold in Mix-ins: Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and the reserved 1 cup of crushed vanilla wafers to ensure even distribution throughout the batter.
  7. Assemble and Bake: Spread the prepared blondie batter evenly over the pre-baked vanilla wafer crust in the 9×13 pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to measure the butter before melting for accurate quantities in the crust and batter.
  • The banana pudding mix adds a subtle banana flavor without needing fresh bananas.
  • You can substitute the white chocolate chips with milk or dark chocolate chips if preferred.
  • Allow the blondies to cool fully before slicing to ensure clean cuts and proper texture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for longer freshness.
