Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie works best)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (adjust to your spice level)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Optional Garnishes

  • Chopped green onions
  • Crumbled blue cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to get it ready for baking the dip evenly and thoroughly.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Mix until the ingredients are smooth and well combined, ensuring an even flavor throughout the dip.
  3. Transfer to Baking Dish: Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9×9-inch baking dish to allow the dip to cook uniformly without sticking to the pan.
  4. Add Cheese and Bake: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the dip. Bake it in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and the cheese on top is melted and slightly golden.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly for about 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions or crumbled blue cheese if desired. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, celery sticks, or carrot sticks for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add a few dashes of hot sauce or increase the buffalo sauce to your preference.
  • If you prefer a milder flavor, substitute half of the buffalo sauce with additional ranch dressing.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving to enjoy the dip warm.
