Chicken and Seasonings

  • 1 packet Lipton® onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Trim off any excess fat from the chicken breasts and pat them dry with paper towels to help the seasonings adhere and ensure even cooking.
  2. Assemble the Ingredients: Into the bottom of the crock pot, add the jasmine rice, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken stock, minced garlic, and black pepper. Stir well to combine so the rice is evenly coated with the creamy mixture.
  3. Add the Chicken: Lay the chicken breasts on top of the rice and sauce mixture. Don’t worry if they aren’t submerged; the cooking process will keep them moist and tender.
  4. Season: Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix evenly over the chicken breasts. Finally, scatter the fresh chopped parsley on top to add brightness and a pop of color.
  5. Cook: Cover the crock pot with the lid and cook on HIGH for 3½ hours or LOW for 5-6 hours. Avoid opening the lid during cooking to maintain steam and proper cooking temperature.
