For the Peanut Butter Base:
- 1 cup (240g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups (250g) powdered sugar
- 2 cups (200g) graham cracker crumbs
For the Chocolate Topping:
- 1½ cups (260g) semisweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup (120g) creamy peanut butter
- Prepare the Peanut Butter Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and graham cracker crumbs. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well incorporated. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish lined with parchment paper to form an even base layer.
- Make the Chocolate Topping: Place the semisweet chocolate chips and ½ cup creamy peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Assemble & Chill: Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter base, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Place the baking dish in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the bars are firm and set.
